Andrew Hedrick Wins Pokémon TCG Worlds with Dragapult

Andrew Hedrick won the Masters Division at the 2026 Pokémon TCG World Championship with Dragapult, beating Diego Cassiraga’s Alakazam 2-0 in the final.

Hedrick had already won the Los Angeles Regional with Dragapult earlier this season, so returning to the archetype for Worlds wasn't a surprise. Cassiraga, the 2017 World Champion, made the final with Alakazam.

The final ended with a deck-out. Hedrick used Boss’s Orders to bring up an already weakened Pokémon with Lucky Helmet attached, then took the Knock Out with Dudunsparce. Lucky Helmet forced Cassiraga to draw two cards. With only two cards left in his deck, Cassiraga was left without cards and lost when he had to draw during the next turn.

This closes the 2026 Pokémon TCG season. The 2027 Championship Series begins September 18-20 with the Baltimore Regional, where players will once again see if anything can finally knock Dragapult off the top spot. 2027 Championship Series schedule.
