Blue/Green Still Leads Gundam’s Japanese Store Meta
Blue/Green slipped again to 29.1%, but Blue decks still made up 64.7% of the Japanese store-qualifier field this week.

Bandai published deck distribution numbers for the August 10–16 run of Newtype Challenge 2026 Mission 4 and the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 26-27 Store Area Qualifiers. Just like last week, Blue/Green remained the most-played. But its share went down. This week's the deck usage was at 29.1%, down from 35.5% two weeks ago and 30.3% last week.
Blue/White was the biggest riser, gaining 2.1 points to reach 12.3% and pass Red/White for fourth. Green/Purple gained 1.5 points to reach 12.6% and move into third, while Red/Purple and Blue/Red also gained ground.
Adding every Blue pairing together shows Blue decks accounted for 64.7% of the field, compared with 64.5% last week. So, Blue seems to be the most popular color, as evidenced by its recent wins at several events.
Blue/Purple was the deck losing the most, falling 1.7 points down to 14.5%. Green/White dropped to 3.2%, while Purple/White fell to 1.9%, the smallest share on the chart.
Bandai does not publish sample size or win rates for this snapshot, so these numbers show usage share only among Japanese store-qualifier players.
