Blue/Green Takes Over as the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS Store Qualifiers Begin
Blue/Green jumped from 9.4% to 35.5% in the first World Championships 26-27 store qualifier weekend (JP), taking over a format that Blurple previously led during Newtype Challenge Mission 3.

Gundam Card Game's first WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 26-27 store area qualifier weekend ran on August 1 and 2, and the usage distribution from @GUNDAM_GCG_JP shows Blue/Green at 35.5% of decks. That is the largest share any color pair has held since we started tracking this data.
The last numbers we had came from the end of Newtype Challenge Mission 3, where Blue/Purple was dominating with 26.1% and Blue/Green sat fifth at 9.4%. Those two events are different fields on different weekends, so this is not a week-over-week move, but the gap between them is hard to miss. Freedom Ascension [GD05] arrived on July 24, and Bandai's own post credits the set with changing the meta.
Blue/White is the closest thing to a challenger at 17.5%, up from 12.9%. Blue/Purple has fallen to third at 12.7%, and Red/White, the clearest challenger a month ago, is down to 10.5% from 19.6%. Green/White took the other heavy loss, dropping from 12.5% to 3.1%, while Green/Purple went from a rounding error at 0.4% to a real presence at 4.8%.
The highlight is Blue. Blue appears in 73.2% of decks this weekend (crazyyyy!), up from 54.0% at the end of Mission 3, and it holds the top three spots.
This is Japanese store-level usage share from a single two-day weekend, not win rates, and Bandai publishes no sample size. One weekend is also not a trend. The question for the next capture is whether Blue/Green stays above a third of the field once players build for it, or whether this is what a fresh set looks like before the answers show up.
