Blue/Purple Still Leads Gundam’s Latest Store Meta
Blue/Purple stays on top of Gundam’s Newtype Challenge store meta, leading the May 25-31 deck usage at 22.2%.
Gundam Card Game JP shared another Newtype Challenge 2026 Mission 3 deck usage update, this time covering store qualifiers from May 25 to May 31, and the top deck is still the same: Blue/Purple.
Blue/Purple led the field again at 22.2%, keeping its spot as the most played color pair in Japan’s store-level meta. That lines up with what we saw last week, where the deck was already the clear leader and the main thing players had to prepare for.
The rest of the field is still pretty active, though. Red/White was second at 16.9%, followed by Blue/White at 13.2%, Green/White at 12.7%, Blue/Green at 9.9%, and Blue/Red at 8.0%.
So while Blue/Purple is still the deck at the top, the format does not look completely locked. Red/White and Blue/White are staying close enough to matter, and Green/White continues to show that the old green core is not gone just because Blue/Purple became the headline deck.
