Card Spotlight: Pokémon TCG Pocket's Chingling
No items, just noise.

We’ve been having a blast with Chingling from Mega Rising. At first glance, it does not look like much, but its attack, Jingly Noise, gives it a very real role in the current Pocket format.

The easiest comparison is Itchy Pollen Budew from the physical TCG. Chingling is basically Pocket’s digital counterpart: a small Pokémon that slows the opponent down by cutting off Item cards while you build your own board. In a game as fast as TCG Pocket, where decks are only 20 cards and so many setups rely on cards like Poké Ball and Rare Candy, one or two turns without items can be a huge setback.

The 10 damage matters more than it looks, too. Combined with abilities like Greninja’s Water Shuriken, Chingling can help set up awkward knockouts that opponents may not be ready for. And if the attack has done its job, the free retreat cost makes it easy to move Chingling out of the way and bring in something stronger.

Chingling buys time, breaks rhythm, and makes fast decks stumble. In Pocket, that can be more than enough.
