Dragapult Still Leads the Pokémon TCG Live Meta

Our latest Play Limitless snapshot for Pokémon TCG Standard covers tournaments from May 27 to June 3, and the headline is still pretty familiar: Dragapult is the most played deck online.

Across 73 tournaments, the sample included 4,343 players and 4,067 public decklists. Dragapult led the tagged field with 425 players, taking exactly 10% of the meta. It also backed that up with 72 Top 8 finishes, a 16.9% Top 8 conversion rate, and multiple tournament wins during the week.

The rest of the field is more spread out. Mega Greninja was second in usage at 6.6%, followed by Slowking at 5.6% and Dragapult / Dusknoir at 5.3%. Slowking was one of the most coolest findings, with 33 Top 8s and several wins, while Dragapult / Dusknoir also had a solid week.

The most interesting bridge to paper results is still Alakazam / Dudunsparce. Cerys Jones won Indianapolis with the deck last weekend, so interest in the deck was to be expected. In this sample, Alakazam / Dudunsparce had 148 players, 25 Top 8s, a 16.9% conversion rate, and a strong 52.8% win rate.

Ogerpon / Meganium / Hydrapple also deserves a mention. It won a tournament and had one of the best conversion rates among well-represented decks, with 25 Top 8s from 144 players. Raging Bolt / Ogerpon, Rocket’s Honchkrow, and N’s Zoroark all had enough presence to stay in the wider conversation too.

For now, the format still revolves around Dragapult, but the chase pack is starting to look clearer. Alakazam / Dudunsparce has the big Regional trophy, Ogerpon / Meganium / Hydrapple keeps converting online, and Slowking continues to hang around as one of the more reliable performers.
