Four Players Went 6-0 With Eight Different Decks at SVO AMEU Preliminary 3
Four players went 6-0 with eight different decks, while Midrange Abysscraft made up half the field.

Four players finished SVO 2026 Season 2 AMEU Preliminary 3 at 6-0 on September 13, and between them they registered eight different decks. Cid brought Midrange Abysscraft and Ramp Dragoncraft, vsai/REV brought Crystal Runecraft and Evolution Portalcraft, GammaWitch brought Artifact Portalcraft and Sephie Runecraft, and Space brought Amulet Havencraft and Combo Forestcraft.
Revenants of Azvaldt landed on August 27, and AMEU rebuilt around it the same way SEAO did. The event drew 242 players. Midrange Abysscraft, in 9.7% of two-deck lineups at Preliminary 2 four weeks earlier, was played by 50.0% of players here. Crystal Runecraft and Rally Swordcraft, the top two decks in August at 42.5% and 40.1% of lineups, fell to 16.1% and 8.7%. Egg Portalcraft, which had 32 lists in Preliminary 2, did not appear once here.
Combo Forestcraft was the biggest newcomer at 35.1% of players, after having no presence at all in August. Sephie Runecraft and Pirate Swordcraft were the other new names to reach meaningful numbers, at 12.8% and 3.7%.
After six rounds, 22 players finished at 6-0 or 5-1 and qualified for the next step toward the Season 2 Playoffs. Midrange Abysscraft was 25.0% of the 484 registered lists and took 25.0% of the 44 qualifying slots. Combo Forestcraft went from 17.6% to 15.9%, while Ramp Dragoncraft went from 13.6% to 15.9%. The three most-played decks in AMEU all converted close to their own share, which is the profile of a field where nothing is clearly ahead (and feels nice seeing it).
The one deck that clearly beat its numbers was Artifact Portalcraft. It was 6.6% of the registered lists and took 11.4% of the qualifying slots, and its players won 55.0% of their matches across 120 games, the best rate among the larger samples. Evolution Portalcraft, the smaller build that trades the Artifact package for Chaos Legion, was better still at 60.5%, though across only 43 matches. Both results are worth noting because the same Artifact Portalcraft had the worst win rate in SEAO the day before.
At the other end, the two decks that fell hardest were both holdovers. Pirate Swordcraft won 23.5% of its matches and Spellboost Runecraft 25.0%, and neither put a list into the qualifying bracket. Rally Swordcraft, the joint top deck of Preliminary 2, survived on a reduced 21 lists and 48.1%, which is a better outcome than it managed in SEAO on the same weekend.
We grouped the lists by how many cards they share and then labeled each group by hand, so names for a few off-meta lists may not be exact. AMEU and SEAO played the same weekend with the same new set and arrived at two different answers. SEAO found one deck: all three of its undefeated players brought Combo Forestcraft. AMEU found four undefeated lineups, and none shared a deck.
