Gundam Card Game: Starter Deck Release and Anniversary Events Arrive This September

Gundam Card Game players have two very good reasons to head to their local game stores this September: the ST11–ST14 Starter Release Event and the 1st Anniversary Event.

The Starter Release Event runs September 25–October 8, 2026. To participate, players must purchase one of four starter decks at a participating store: Aquatic Assault (ST11), Raging Onslaught (ST12), Silent Barrage (ST13), or Heavy Dominion (ST14). Luckily, I managed to get a spot in one :)

Every participant receives a random two-card pack featuring either Acguy and Char Aznable or Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee (Unicorn Mode) and Ple-Twelve. Card dividers are also listed among the commemorative items.

The 1st Anniversary Event runs September 12–October 31, 2026, with Swiss or tournament play determined by each store. All participants receive a one-card Anniversary Event Pack at the end of the event, containing either Striker Pack (ST04-012) or, at a low pull rate, a ZGMF-X20A STRIKE FREEDOM GUNDAM serial card (EXBP-028).

Look how cool it is:

Both events require registration through BANDAI TCG+. However, some stores might also require a separate registration with them.
