Gundam's Blue/White Rises to Second as Blue/Green Falls to 25.1%
Blue/White jumped to second in Japan's store meta, while Blue still accounted for nearly two-thirds of the field.
Bandai published the deck distribution for the August 17–23 run of Japan's Newtype Challenge 2026 Mission 4 and the WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS 26-27 store area qualifiers. The data says that Blue/Green is still the most-played deck in Japanese stores at 25.1%, even though the color pair has now declined for three straight weeks. This week's 4-point drop is its biggest since the opening week. Back then, the colors' play rate was at 35.5%.
On the other hand, Blue/White keeps gaining field. It went up 4.9 points to reach 17.2%, jumping from fourth to second. Now, the gap between first and second is 7.9 points, down from last week's 14.6.
In overall, Blue, at 64.6% is the most used deck. The pairings might keep changing but the overall share barely moves.
Similarly, the rest of the field didn't change that much. Green/Red went up 0.7 points to 3.5%, and Purple/White 0.2 to 2.1%. The drops were small and spread out: Blue/Purple and Blue/Red each lost 0.5 points, while Green/Purple, Red/Purple, Red/White, and Green/White all moved by less than half a point. Blue/Purple remains third at 14.0%, followed by Green/Purple at 12.2%.
