Report: LA Pokémon Regional Championships 2026
Dragapult Takes Over LA

The 2026 Los Angeles Regional was pretty much the Dragapult show, and Andrew Hedrick ended up being the player who carried it all the way home.
Dragapult was already the deck to beat going into the weekend, making up 31.9% of Day One with 590 players on it. And it wasn't the end. On Day Two, that percentage jumped to jumped to 47.1% of the remaining players. Almost half the room. If you weren't playing that, your opponent probably did.
Hedrick was a pretty fitting champion for that kind of tournament. He had already been putting in work with the archetype, finishing 12th at Querétaro last month and 9th at Seattle earlier this year with Dragapult before finally closing the deal in LA.
The rest of the field had plenty of variety. Raging Bolt, Festival Lead, Alakazam/Dunsparce, Mega Starmie, and Team Rocket’s Mewtwo/Spidops all had real numbers, but in the end Phantom Dive got it.
