MeepleSkills Wins Gen Con Gundam Regional with Justice Blockers

Kareem Zaimere, aka. MeepleSkills won the Gundam Card Game Gen Con Regional on July 31 with Justice Blockers.

This is the first Regional-winning list of the GD05 format, and its most interesting detail is that it does not include a single card from Freedom Ascension. Justice Blockers won the first major event after the set’s release by sticking to an established shell, which is a nice reminder that a new format does not always require a completely new deck.

It is an early win for a deck from Freedom Ascension [GD05], giving the new set an immediate Regional result during its first competitive weekend.

Only the winning list is available for now, but we will update the Gen Con Regional event page as more top-cut results and decklists appear.
