Miraidon and Magnezone Lead Pocket’s First Paradox Drive Tournament Day
Miraidon ex / Magnezone leads the first full day of Paradox Drive tournaments, while Mega Lucario ex / Koraidon ex also picks up an early win.

Paradox Drive has only been out for a moment, but the first full day of Play Limitless events already gives us an early look at decks people have been trying.
Across six public tournaments from May 28 to May 29, the sample included 235 players, with 187 public decklists available. The most played archetype was Miraidon ex / Magnezone, showing up with 19 players for 10.2% of the field. Not exactly a solved format yet, but it is a pretty clear first signal.
Magnezone was the big story overall. Miraidon ex / Magnezone won one event, while related builds like Magnezone ex / Magnezone also converted well. Magnezone ex / Magnezone had only five players, but two of them reached Top 8, giving it the best conversion rate among decks with at least five players.
Paradox Drive was not just an Electric show, though. Mega Altaria ex / Espeon had a strong first day too with two Top 8s, and a solid win rate. Mega Lucario ex / Koraidon ex also picked up a tournament win at 10-1.
For now, this is still very early data, and it only covers public Play Limitless events with available standings and decklists. Still, the first snapshot is fun: Miraidon and Magnezone are everywhere, Altaria is still hanging around, and the new set is already pushing players into fresh builds.
