Pitch Black's Toucannon Finds a Place in Alakazam Dudunsparce

Pitch Black is still new, but Pikipek and Toucannon have already found a place in Alakazam Dudunsparce.

The pair appeared in 72.3% of the archetype's tracked Play Limitless lists this week, generally as a two-copy Pikipek and two-copy Toucannon line. That is a significant jump from 20% the previous week, though it is important context: these cards are new to the format, so this is their first real chance to appear in results and not than a suddenly discovery pair.

In general, the Alakazam Dudunsparce deck has also changed around them, with several other cards moving in or out of the list as players test the new set.

But it's still early. A high first-week adoption rate says that players are interested in them, not necessarily that it has already become the deck's final version. But with 267 tracked lists this week, it is more than a handful of people trying something new. Next week's results should tell us whether the package stays.
