Pokémon TCG Pocket’s C Series Adds New Collection and Battle Events
Pokémon TCG Pocket’s C Series arrives at the end of October with dual-type Pokémon, longer booster cycles, mission rewards, rental decks, and new battle events.
Pokémon TCG Pocket’s C Series will launch at the end of October with dual-type Pokémon, longer booster-pack cycles, and several new ways to collect and battle.
The biggest structural change is moving from four-week booster cycles to about six weeks. The Operations Team says the change is meant to give players more time to collect each release, while new missions and events will fill the longer gap between expansions.
Collecting is also getting new tools. Immersive cards will be available through collection-based missions, while the new Special Pack: First Partners will feature the first partner Pokémon from the nine regions represented in the video games. Special Packs will use their own stamina system, which recovers once per week.
Players can also earn new ★1 promo cards through a three-week mission series. Completing each weekly set will unlock one of three illustrated promo cards built around a unified theme.
On the battle side, rental decks will be available when new booster packs release and can be used without a limit. Limited Battle Events will restrict which cards are eligible for a set period after each release, while Ranked Matches and Emblem Events will continue from the B Series.
C Series is shaping up to be more than a new card pool. The longer release cycle gives Pokémon TCG Pocket room for a steadier rhythm of collection missions, special packs, and format-specific battles. The Operations Team notes that the products and features remain subject to change.
