Red/Blue Cruz Control Wins Gundam Peoria Regional

Gundam Card Game’s Peoria Regional wrapped up this weekend, with Alex N. (Gantrithor22), taking the win on Red/Blue Cruz Control.

The event was part of the WCS 26-27 Regionals Season 1 circuit, held on May 31 at the Peoria Civic Center. It was also another important GD04 result, especially with Blue/Purple still leading a lot of the conversation around the format.

That makes this win pretty interesting. Red/Blue has been around, but it has not always a deck people point to when talking about the top of the meta. Peoria gives Cruz Control a major result and adds another shook to a format that has looked less solved with every Regional.
