Runecraft Holds Class Rating Lead as Swordcraft Tops Shared Shadowverse Wins Lists

This week's Shadowverse check-in splits between the two sources. Class Rating still points to Runecraft as the strongest class, with a 2096.5 top-10 average on August 11. Dragoncraft is close behind at 2088.0, and Portalcraft is third at 2069.9. But the shared Shadowverse Wins lists tell a different story: Swordcraft led that sample with 7 of 21 decks, with Portalcraft right behind at 6.

For Runecraft, every one of its top 10 players is at 2072 or higher. Dragoncraft has the highest individual rating in the snapshot at 2151 and sits only 8.5 points behind Runecraft by average. Abysscraft also made the biggest week-over-week jump, up 108.5 points from last week's data capture, even though it was not a major part of the Shadowverse Wins sample.

Shadowverse Wins measures decks players chose to share after long win streaks. From that sample, Swordcraft and Portalcraft had the most appearances. Swordcraft's lists were mostly Rally, while Portal's were Artifact.

The spread chart helps explain why these stories do not line up perfectly. Swordcraft had the tightest Class Rating top 10 this week, with only 54 points between its first and tenth player, but that whole group sat lower than Runecraft, Dragoncraft, Portalcraft, and Abysscraft by average. Forestcraft was the opposite: a huge 2142 at the top, then a sharp fall to a 1971 tenth slot, the widest spread in the snapshot at 171 points.

To recap, Runecraft and Dragoncraft still have the strongest Class Rating case, while Swordcraft and Portalcraft are the decks players are posting with wins right now. Dragoncraft sits between the two: second by Class Rating average, and also responsible for the best individual uploaded result of the Wins window, an 18-win ramp list.
