Shadowverse Premier Series 26-27 Starts This Weekend
Shadowverse Premier Series 26-27 starts this weekend, giving us the first big team-based look at the post-Chronicle of Destiny format.

Shadowverse’s second half of the competitive season starts this weekend with the opening matches of Shadowverse Premier Series 26-27, a new official team circuit for Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond.
This one is a little different from the usual SVO or other offline events. Premier Series brings together eight Japanese teams, including Crazy Raccoon, ZETA DIVISION, DetonatioN FocusMe, VARREL, MURASH GAMING, REJECT, RIDDLE ORDER, and Levanga Hokkaido, across a 14-round regular season, followed by playoffs and a championship. The prize at the end is also huge: ¥100,000,000 for first place.
Each round is played as a team match. Teams submit seven Rotation decklists before play, then battle for points across multiple games. Battles 1-3 must be played by different players, battle 4 is always played, and if the score is tied 2-2 after that, battle 5 decides the round. Team communication is only allowed during battles 4 and 5, which adds a nice layer of strategy without turning every game into a full group discussion.
The first published decklists are for the July 11 matches: Crazy Raccoon vs ZETA DIVISION and DetonatioN FocusMe vs VARREL. Each team submitted one deck for every class, giving us an early look at how top teams are approaching the first major post-Chronicle of Destiny event. Ladder results have already given us some early clues, but Premier Series should offer a better look at what organized teams actually trust when decklists are locked in.
You can find the initial decklists at https://ps.shadowverse-wb.com/26-27/news/220/. You'll find the usual archetypes that have been dominating the meta since the new set came out. Decks like Ramp Dragon, Rally Sword, Tempo Forest, Evo Havencraft, and AF Portalcraft, which is one of our favorite decks of the current meta.
