Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond Starts Its First Anniversary Celebration

Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond is kicking off its first anniversary with a pretty packed update, and there is a lot more here than just a login bonus.

The biggest reward is the 1st-Anniversary Daily 10-Pack Giveaway, which gives players 10 card pack tickets per day for 12 days, up to 120 total tickets. The campaign runs after maintenance on June 17 until July 5. Good luck and hope you get the leader you've been wanting.

There is also a Jumbo Park Chest Event, where players can earn keys through Shadowverse Park login bonuses and limited-time missions. Opening chests gives rewards like rupies, vials, cards, pack tickets, Seer’s items, and a chance at much bigger prizes, including the final jumbo chest with a 25,000,000 rupies grand prize.

For competitive players, the biggest announcement might be the 1st-Anniversary Cup, a Grand Prix event running from June 17 to June 28. This one uses Take Two All-Stars, a modified Take Two format, with special supplies featuring Dreizehn and Arisa as rewards.

The update also adds a new Simplified Format, designed to help newer players get into the game. It only uses cards from Legends Rise and basic cards, and players can build decks with eligible cards even if they do not own enough copies. That is a nice onboarding tool, especially during an anniversary push. We'll for sure try it.

On the collection side, Shadowverse is adding a new Showcase feature, letting players decorate and share displays using cards, leaders, emblems, sleeves, flairs, backgrounds, and more. The Card Compendium is also getting updates, including missing-card display for the premium compendium, a skip button for card acquisition animations, and set poster rewards.

Finally, the shop is getting anniversary bundles, Dreizehn and Steelclad Knight cosmetics, a premium set, and past rewards returning for purchase, including leaders, card styles, sleeves, and emblems.

Overall, this is a pretty big anniversary update: free packs, new events, a beginner-friendly format, collection features, and a lot of cosmetics. Not bad for the game’s first birthday.
