Shadowverse's Runecraft Closes the Current Meta on Top

Runecraft closes the final Class Rating (CR) snapshot of Chronicle of Destiny's second half in first place. Its top 10 CR averages 2248.9 on August 25, up 75.9 points from a week ago and the largest gain of any class. Runecraft led every weekly snapshot since the half opened on July 29, and it's the only class that reached the 2300 (at the time of writing).

Beyond Runecraft, Portalcraft went from fifth to third on a 61.3 point gain, while Dragoncraft moved from third to fifth. Havencraft gained 75.3, almost matching Runecraft's jump, but that was only enough to move it from seventh to sixth. Forestcraft is now last at 2124.3, only 3.1 points behind Havencraft.

The CR's spread adds context to the averages. Portal is the tightest group on the board, with its players within almost 50 points from each other. Forestcraft is the one with the widest margin. Its top player sits at 2233 while the second place is at 2149, an 84 points difference from a total of 150 sepatating its first and tenth players.

This is the last Class Rating snapshot before Revenants of Azvaldt releases on August 27. By looking at these numbers, recent major results, online conversations, and my own experience, Rune seems to be way too ahead of the other classes. A new set also means rotation, but since Rune, and most importantly, Rune Crystal won't lose any important card, there's a chance for the deck to keep dominating.
