SVO AMEU Preliminary 2 Lands on the Same Top Two as SEAO

Shadowverse's Open AMEU and SEAO latest preliminary tournaments ended with similar numbers. The SVO 2026 Season 2 AMEU Preliminary 2 had Crystal Runecraft as the most-used deck, with a 42.5% usage share out of 207 players. Rally Swordcraft followed at 40.1%. In SEAO the day before, those numbers were 43.0% and 42.5%.

The difference started to show in the rest of the field. Egg Portalcraft was played by 15.5% of the AMEU players, the largest gap when compared against SEAO’s 9.6%. Artifact Portalcraft was lower in AMEU at 19.8%, compared with 25.0% in SEAO, while Ramp Dragoncraft was at 24.6% against 29.4%. Everything else landed within a couple of points of the SEAO field.

Rally Sword has been the strongest deck near the top, and it’s the only deck all three undefeated players brought: DV8 paired it with Ramp Dragoncraft, Hibiki/深紅蘭 with Crystal Runecraft, and Iracc with Amulet Havencraft. Nineteen players sit at 5-1 or better, and Rally Sword is in eleven of those lineups.

Evo Haven sits at the other side. It had almost exactly the same share of the field, 13.5% here against 13.2% in SEAO, but none of its 22 players is at 5-1 or better, and they are a combined 29-47 in matches. Egg Portalcraft was AMEU's biggest best-of-the-rest, but only one of its players is at 5-1 or better.

The deck breakdown covers the 207 players who registered lists. A few smaller rogue decks have been grouped as best as possible, but the takeaway is that Crystal Rune and Rally Sword are, just like SEAO, the decks to beat.

AMEU Preliminary 3 takes place on September 13.
