Deicide in Nacreheim Adds Clues to Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond
Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond's tenth set introduces a murder mystery, a new Clue engine, and several revealed cards that show how the mechanic works.

Cygames has revealed more details about Deicide in Nacreheim, the tenth card set for Shadowverse: Worlds Beyond. The set releases on October 28 with 76 new cards, two exchange tickets, and two additional fully animated cards. The official set page describes a locked-room murder mystery surrounding the death of a benevolent goddess.

The set's new Clue keyword is the central mechanic. Clue amulets can be engaged to draw cards and consume a clue, while other cards use clues to power their abilities. When a new Clue amulet enters play, it banishes allied Clue amulets already on the field and carries their existing clues forward.
The English reveal stream showed three cards that give the mechanic a clearer shape. Desolationist Refiner is a two-cost Havencraft follower whose Last Words add two copies of Divine Evidence to your hand. That one-cost Neutral Clue token has Engage (1): Draw a card. Consume a clue.

Nacreheim, Utopian World is another one-cost Neutral Clue card. It has the same Engage ability, but also restores two defense to your leader when it is banished from the field. That makes the Clue package look like more than a draw engine: the cards can replace themselves, build toward other payoffs, and turn their eventual banish into a resource swing.

The set's story follows detectives and criminals trying to solve the goddess's death. The official character profiles introduce Nosche, Theriophone Detective; No Life, Dichotomous Detective; Noeinhowell, Hymnodic Detective; Nocturne, Postmortem Detective; and the calamities Leizaut, Lapinette, and Lineage.

The Swordcraft reveals showed a bit more of what Clue might do. No Life, Dichotomous Detective is a nine-cost 5/6 Legendary with Rush. Its hand ability triggers whenever you Engage a Clue amulet, swapping its attack and defense and giving it +1/+0. Its Fanfare summons an exact copy; if No Life's attack is lower than its defense, that copy gains Bane, and No Life gains Drain, while a higher attack gives the copy Ward and No Life gains Storm.

The two accompanying Swordcraft cards point in the same direction. Cheeky Architect is a three-cost 1/4 whose Fanfare deals damage to an enemy follower equal to its attack and summons a Divine Evidence. Evolving it summons a Guileless Newsie. Guileless Newsie costs two for a 2/1, has Rush, summons Divine Evidence with its Last Words, and can use Enhance (4) to summon an exact copy.

The package gives Swordcraft a clear Clue payoff: keep Engaging amulets to grow No Life in hand, then turn the resulting body into either a Storm finisher or a Drain stabilizer. It is still early, and the reveal notes that all stats and abilities may change, but this is the first card shown that makes the Clue engine look like a real competitive threat. The Swordcraft cards were shared in this Reddit reveal.
The reveal also comes with an official story event. The Nacreheim Case Files are now live, asking players to help solve the goddess's murder alongside the set's detectives and criminals. Cygames' announcement says players who solve the mystery will get access to a special Cygames Webstore URL, letting them buy the next card-style set before its regular sale—and potentially before Deicide in Nacreheim releases. The Case Files website is available here.

The announcement notes that card styles, emblems, and sleeves bought before the set's release will be delivered when the new set launches. The style set is expected to become available for regular purchase about a month after release, although Cygames says details may change. Plenty of the 76-card pool remains to be seen, but these early reveals already give Deicide in Nacreheim a clear identity: clue collection, investigation, and careful sequencing. The revealed card text is still subject to change.
