Pokémon TCG Pocket’s Dual Fusion Expansion Arrives October 28
Dual Fusion brings dual-type Mega Pokémon, six rental decks, and a packed event schedule to Pokémon TCG Pocket on October 28.
Pokémon TCG Pocket’s Dual Fusion expansion launches October 28 at 6:00 p.m. PDT, introducing dual-type Pokémon through Mega Mewtwo X ex and Mega Greninja ex.
Mega Mewtwo X ex combines Psychic and Fighting, while Mega Greninja ex uses Water and Darkness. The expansion will also add six rental decks, including decks built around the two headline Mega Pokémon, giving players a way to test the new strategies immediately. The rental decks will be available until December 15 at 5:59 p.m. PST.
As usual, Dual Fusion also starts a packed run of events. The second-anniversary celebration campaign begins October 29, followed by the Dual Fusion Emblem Event and Battle Rally Missions from November 5 to 15. Promo Pack C Series Vol. 1 arrives November 17, and Ranked Match Season C1 starts November 30.
The expansion’s new elite Dragon-type deck features Mega Rayquaza ex, Dragonair, and Gouging Fire. With dual-type Pokémon opening new deck-building lines and several events arriving alongside the set, Dual Fusion looks like more than a normal Pocket release.
