Pokemon's Frankfurt and Brisbane Regional Day 1 Recap
Frankfurt’s 2,793-player Masters field is wide open, with Dragapult ex / Dudunsparce leading the Day 1 deck breakdown at 10%.

Day 1 of the 2027 Frankfurt Regional is over. Going into the last round, only two players had reached it without a loss: UK's Rohan Scott and Hungary's Dénes Borda, both at 8-0 before being paired against each other.
Play Pokémon's Day 1 deck breakdown shows a very open field. Dragapult ex / Dudunsparce is the most-played deck at 10% (272 of 2,790 decks), followed by N's Zoroark ex / Zekrom at 7%. Four decks are at 6%: Teal Mask Ogerpon / Lillie's Clefairy, Dragapult ex / Dusknoir, Alakazam / Dudunsparce and Slowking / Academy at Night. Counting both builds, Dragapult ex is in 16% of the field. Even so, the six most-played decks add up to only 41%. The other 1,648 decks, or 59% of the field, were something else.
Day 2 has five more rounds of Swiss before the top cut. With ten more players at 8-1, there is plenty of room for the standings to change.
Meanwhile in Brisbane
Australia’s Riley Dean and Japan’s Daigo Yoshihara were the only players at 7-0 at the end of Day 1, with five players (three from Japan and two from Australia) just behind them at 6-0-1. No Day 1 deck breakdown has been published for Brisbane, so we’ll look at its field once there is more to report.
