Players planning to pick one up should also keep an eye on the Starter Release Event, which runs at participating stores from September 25 through October 8. These events serve as an introduction to the decks. Depending on the store, you buy the one you want, or get one at random. Also, participants receive one of two random card packs featuring either Acguy and Char Aznable, or Unicorn Gundam 02 Banshee (Unicorn Mode) and Ple-Twelve. For more detals see: Event details.

One thing to know before buying ST12: Gundam Epyon has already been errata'd. Bandai's September 4 correction adds [Once per Turn] to its [During Pair, Lv.5 or Higher Pilot] ability, and no corrected cards will be printed. The deck ships with the wrong text on its headline card, so players will need to use the remember the updated wording. Bandai's errata notice.
